korra fan art


Hey everyone! Nickelodeon is looking for character designers for the Legend of Korra and I REALLY REALLY REALLY  want to do that. I love that show and it's pretty much exactly what I want to do. Anyway, I've been doing some fan art to add to my portfolio to hopefully show that I can draw in the style they're looking for. Let me know what you think!

  3. I think you need to warm up her skin a little bit- it's really close to the animal skin she's wearing. Isn't she a water person? May try to hint something toward that- perhaps instead of the dusty texture in the background something more wet?
    And I agree with Shara- that would be PERFECT for you. Best of luck, Randy!

    2. You did your homework! :) I was also thinking you may try cropping the guy's background a little further out- it stops so abruptly at his "stop" hand that it's a little distracting.
      So excited for you and all the new work you're doing! Really hope you get the job!
