Pandora

Okay, so here's a painting I did today of Pandora, Greek mythology's Eve. I based her on a friend from high school who has this awesome fashion blog with some kick-butt poses that make for good reference. Anyway, I'm hoping to get some feedback before I print this tomorrow. Hope you like it

  1. oooh! I like it! Great job with the shadow and texture!!
There is something odd about her face, though- I think we have a little too much info there. You have a really strong light on her so I think we need to lost some of her face in shadow- I think that will convey more of a mischievous feel as well.
Also, I think her upper arm would be in shadow too. (based on the shadow of the pot) You might try adding some texture to the pot too.
It's really nice, Randy! The color is spot on and I love the texture.

  2. Oh my goodness! I have alot of artists/illustrators among my family and friends and I must say...you are INCREDIBLE! You have captured a sassy feeling (so Liz) as she gazes at you. How do I get a print? Thanks so much. I found you through cottonandcurls.blogspot.com and now know what I will be doing in my spare time -- going through your art work. Congratulation! Yours, R. Scoville (roxannescoville@hotmail.com)
