Here's a modified version of the ninja turtle sketch I posted a little while ago. I have always loved the ninja turtles and would love to have been a part of that IP. Anyway, here you go. I hope you like it and as always, critiques are welcome.

  1. I have no business critiquing something so awesome. It's perfect.

  2. Mr. Bishop, as always your drawings rock my socks off! I love the movement in the characters and their individual personality. The only thing I'm thinking this piece is lacking, overall, is a bit of contrast. If you were to view this image in grayscale, or even in color, and squint your eyes, it's all about the same value. If you want the turtles to be light on a dark background you need to push it. If you want them to read in silhouette perhaps you could throw some elements behind them that are light to make their forms read better. Right now everything is kinda blending together. Maybe try a lightsource behind them that gives them a real strong rim-lighting. Or something to make the image read more.

    Just a thought.

  3. Randy, you need to start selling some of your work. I would totally buy a print of this.
